Scheduling Instagram posts via your desktop

Scheduling Instagram posts via your desktop

If you enjoy using Instagram, but sometimes find scheduling posts on your mobile fiddly, here's some great news; you can now post and schedule natively on your desktop!

I've been hoping that this function would become available for a while and I'm sure I'm not alone. Previously, it has been possible to browse Instagram on your desktop and edit your profile by going to instagram.com, but not to create posts.

Facebook Creator Studio

Using Facebook Creator Studio you can post pictures, videos, carousels and IGTV videos. The only thing you can't post is stories.

To get yourself set up, go to Facebook.com/creatorstudio

You will need to log in to your Facebook account. Then at the top of the page, you will be able to toggle between Facebook and Instagram using these icons.

When you are in the Content Library, you will see a list of all your posts. The great thing about this view is that you can see at a glance all of your post data e.g. date published, how many likes and comments each post has.

I love this new update, it is going to make managing your Instagram account much easier!

For a full explanation on how to get set up, the helpful people at Social Media Examiner have put together this video.
